Travel tips for reaching Iseo and Relais Franciacorta by car, train, or plane from Milan and other destinations.

If you're flying in from abroad, we recommend landing at Bergamo (BGY) "Il Caravaggio International Airport", also known as "Orio al Serio Airport", which is the closest international airport to Iseo, just about 40 minutes away by car.

From the airport, you can reach Iseo via car rental or private transfer/taxi, both available directly at the airport.

Other recommended airports include:

• Milan Linate Airport (LIN) - Located 89 km (1 hr 10 min) by car to Iseo.

• Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) - Located 120 km (1 hr 40 min) by car to Iseo.

If you're driving from Milan, the trip to Iseo takes about 1 hour 50 min via the A4 motorway.

You can either drive directly to Pieve di Sant'Andrea (the church in Iseo) or go to Relais Franciacorta first, park there, and take our organized bus to the church.

We recommend parking at Relais Franciacorta, as it has plenty of space and is also where the reception takes place, while parking near the church is limited. The church is about a 15-minute drive from Relais Franciacorta if you decide to drive.

Driving License Information

If you are coming from a non-EU country and plan to rent a car in Italy, you should first verify whether your driver’s license is valid in Italy. If not, you will not be able to rent a car. You may need to obtain an International Driving Permit to drive in Italy in this website idpglobe.com

Our complimentary shuttle bus will depart from Relais Franciacorta at 3:00 PM (15:00) and take all guests to a drop-off point just a 3-minute walk from Pieve di Sant'Andrea, where the religious ceremony will take place.

Following the ceremony, the shuttle will return all guests to Relais Franciacorta for the reception. At the conclusion of the reception at 1:30 AM transportation will be provided to the center of Iseo.
